Hive At Sundays on the Boulevard on September 24!

We’re delighted to have been a partner organization for the final Sunday on the Boulevard in North Lawndale, Chicago on September 24, 2024.

At the event, we made single sheet books with hundreds of kids and grown ups, and from 2-5, local printmaker and artist William Estrada joined us with his traveling printmaking cart to make some awesome prints with the community.

In addition to all of the bookish art making, we gave out three boxes of diverse books to kids and adults alike, through our partnership with Young, Black & Lit.

We’re grateful to the North Lawndale Pop Up Spot for their generous support in our participation of this event, and look forward to working with them next year!
