Hive Favorite: healing through papermaking

We love this project out of University of Wisconsin: Milwaukee, where Professor Raoul Deal invited families affected by gun violence to make paper from their loved ones’ clothes, which then became the substrate for printed portraits.

This project is deeply inspiring, and we hope to connect with Mr. Deal soon, to find out more about the process.
