IN PERSON: That House, Not Sane: How to Write a Haunted Place with Ahsan Butt October 29 :: 6-8 pm CST

Join us for a spooky workshop, in which we explore how to craft the perfect haunted place, with ambience and dread.

So many of the great works of horror derive their effect from a sense of place. In this workshop, we'll sample readings from the Gothic to the contemporary and discuss how place can evoke such chilly feelings. We'll tease out practical techniques for writing our own haunted places, and even try our hand at it.

All experience levels are welcome.

Enthusiasm for places that unnerve and fill you with disquieting feelings is required.

October 29, 6-8 pm  $50
